We offer a wide range of ancillary services to ensure that all your post needs can be handled under one roof. Our Evertz/ProCap Digital Video Closed Caption Encoder can encode closed captioning information onto your master tapes in the digital component realm. We can even refer you to a closed captioning authoring provider to ensure that the tightest of deadlines are met.

Need streaming media files such as Windows Media, Quicktime, or MPEG? Our operators can encode in all of the popular computer-based formats. We offer Digital Dailies over the internet as well as Telestream video services. We can also create DVD copies of your program all the way from from basic one-off screeners to complex discs with multiple chapters and graphical menus.

We also offer High Definition down conversion, up conversion, and cross conversions. And we can resolve any issues you may encounter with mixing frame rates or different video resolutions within the same project.  

Need EDL management services, or a film trace for a negative film cut? Our staff can handle it. File conversions and resolution of format compatibility issues with digital media are no problem for us. We also provide dailies sound syncing and logging for HD & SD videotape based productions.

Magnetic North also offers self contained Avid Offline Edit Suites. Our systems can be rented by the week or month at our location. For anyone seeking offline editing space for their own editing system, we offer furnished suites available to rent by the week or month.
